You tucked me in,turned out the light
为我掖好被角，帮我熄灭灯光
Kept me safe and sound at night
长夜漫漫，让我安然入眠
Little girls depend on things like that
这份宠爱，我深深依赖
Brushed my teeth and combed my hair
帮我洗漱，为我梳妆
Had to drive me everywhere
驾车四处走，为我奔波忙
You were always there when I looked back
当我回首，你总在守候
You had to do it all alone
生活琐事，你只身担当
Make a living .make a home
赚钱谋生，支撑起家庭
It must have been as hard as it could be
其中几多艰难辛酸，我可以想见
And when I couldn’t sleep at night
当我深夜辗转难眠
Scared things wouldn’t turn out right
担心事情变得糟、难以如愿
You would hold my hand and sing to me
你就会握着我的手，唱歌哄我入眠
