《晨霜》

我爱霜，爱它清凛，洁净；爱它能报知响晴的天气。最清美的，是那白霜映衬下的朝阳。
有一年十二月末尾，我一大早从大船户冢这地方经过。那是个罕见的霜晨，田野和房舍上像下了一层薄薄的细雪，村庄的竹林和常绿树木也是一片银白。顷刻间，东方天空露出了金色，杲杲旭日，升上没有一丝云翳的空中，霞光万道，照耀着田野，农舍。那粒粒白霜，皎洁晶莹，对着太阳的一面，银光闪烁；背着太阳的一面，透映着紫色的暗影。农舍，竹林，以及田地里堆积的稻草垛，就连那一寸高的稻茬上，也是半明半暗，半白半紫。一眼望去，所见之处，银光紫影，相映成趣。紫影中仍然可以隐隐约约看到霜，大地简直成了一块紫水晶。
一个农夫站在霜地里烧稻草，青烟蓬蓬，散开去，遮蔽了太阳，变成银白色。逢到霜重，那青烟竟也带上了一层淡紫色。于是，我爱霜，爱得越发深沉了
